Dear JAMN Family,

Hip Hop Caucus, a JAMN co-founding organization and creator of People’s Climate Music, just exclusively released “Trouble in the Water,” a cinematic music video starring Common on Facebook!

PLEASE WATCH AND SHARE THIS VIDEO! https://www.facebook.com/hiphopcaucus/videos/10153713426992987

The video calls on viewers to sign a petition, from their Facebook or onwww.peoplesclimatemusic.com calling on Michigan Governor Rick Snyder to start a compensation fund for victims of the Flint water crisis.

People’s Climate Music is a justice-based campaign, and it is local environmental justice issues that are the driving argument as to why we must transition to a 100% clean energy future, through policy (local, federal and international) and economic (divest/invest) tools.

People's Climate Music has three goals:

To expand the frame of and popularize the climate movement using culture.

To grow the climate movement in size and by increasing its diversity.

To move people to action on a climate issue agenda that employs political, economic, and cultural strategies to transition our world to a clean energy future.

There is also a 'Behind the Scenes' video of “Trouble in the Water,” up on www.peoplesclimatemusic.com

Together we can do it! Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!!!
