HOUSE RESOLUTION ON CLIMATE AND GREEN JOBS
ASK YOUR U.S. REPRESENTATIVE TO ENDORSE THE HISTORIC CLEAN ENERGY/GREEN JOBS RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF A 100% CLEAN RENEWABLE ENERGY FUTURE
The co-chairs of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Reps. Raúl M. Grijalva (D-AZ) and Keith Ellison (D-MN) have introduced a House Resolution that sets aggressive national priorities for combatting climate change. The resolution calls for significant goals of near zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, 50 percent of electricity to be derived from renewable sources by 2030 and a transition to 100 percent renewable energy by 2050.
Forty Two members of Congress have co-sponsored this Resolution. Ask your Representative to do the same.

Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the policies of the United States should support a transition to near zero greenhouse gas emissions, 100 percent clean renewable energy, infrastructure modernization, green jobs, full employment, a sustainable economy, fair wages, affordable energy, expanding the middle class, and ending poverty to promote national economic competitiveness and national security and for the purpose of avoiding adverse impacts of a changing climate.
